All our indoor equipment performs functions that used to be done by up to 5 different appliances at each remote site. Each iDirect, IRG DVB-S2 and SkyEdgeII modem VSAT is a satellite modem, a router, with built-in TCP accelerator that makes browsing faster, and built-in Quality of Service traffic shaper for error correction, and an encryption device all bundled into one convenient appliance with its outdoor components.
